The bed was exceptionally comfortable. the bathroom was clean. the room had a balcony and a TV with cable channels. the hotel is located in a very quiet area. Situated right by local restaurants, the Zona Colonial, and casinos. NOTE: Please remember to mention the name of the hotel and the city in which it is located for clarity and context.

The room was neat and provided with TV. The hotel's location was magnificent, really close to the Malecon or local color places on Independencia. It also was in a reasonably safe neighborhood close to the Colonial Zone.

This hotel was disappointing based on the online photos and what I found once I arrived there in person. Rooms and bathrooms were cramped and it smelled mildewy. The staff did not speak any English. Overall on a 10 scale I give this one a 4 and I am being generous.

Inexpensive hotel by DR standards. Located right beside the Intercontinental Hotel just half a block from the Malecon. Inexpensive taxi to colonial sector.
Quite basic and somewhat bleak. Long walk to colonial sector. Lots of streetside garbage right opposite the front entrance of the hotel.

The breakfast was very good.
Everything was correct, but I suggest that they do a check in their A/C system.

The staff is sympa.
Noisy as I was sleeping in a room with broken window and an A/C running all night right outside that window. More, if you stayed long, will be feeded up with the dull breakfast. Same breakfast everyday...boring.

The staff was very helpful and the location excellent. Half a block from the Malecon and easy walking distance to good restaurants, El Conde, and La Zona Colonial. Having breakfast included in the cost of the room a big plus.
Room was a bit cramped for 2 people, but we managed just fine.
